I can't even begin to tell you all how excited I am to begin Tot School with my three year old and my one year old this Monday! I have been scouring blogs the last few weeks and getting everything together for a smooth transition into the world of a "routine" from the carefree days of summer. Fall has arrived just in time! As summer will next year. After reading lots of reviews I have decided to invest in two main "curriculum-outlines" for my three year old and follow a lot of ideas given by Carisa at http://www.1plus1plus1equals1.com/totschool.html for both of my kiddos.
Last year we tried to begin Before Five in a Row but didn't have follow-through and just plain weren't ready. We are going to start it again, beginning with Jesse Bear, What Will You Wear? for the first week, maybe two. I got lots of ideas from In Lieu of Preschool's pinterest page: http://m.pinterest.com/NLieuOPreschool/jesse-bear-what-will-you-wear-before-five-in-a-row/! I am looking forward to trying some out.
Our big investment this semester was: https://www.allaboutlearningpress.com/all-about-reading-level-pre-1/. I have just read amazing things about it and it looked like a great place for us to start. I ordered it a couple days ago and will do a more thorough review when I get it in the mail.
So, here we go! I have a couple blogs to do before we start Monday but for now the dishes are waiting for me and so is my bed.
